Weekend

IKAT is intentionally designed to prioritize conversation, collaboration and community amongst women leaders in Southeast Asia

The conference includes keynotes and breakout sessions, collaborative conversations, and informal moments to connect. Together, these create an environment where leaders can explore ideas openly and learn from one another, building the Harpswell sisterhood that connects over 500 women across borders.

United in Shared Sisterhood

Exploring how women across Southeast Asia are shaping change while navigating the realities of gender equity. IKAT creates space for honest dialogue on power, access, and representation, grounded in diverse lived experiences.

Rooted in Southeast Asia

Deepening understandings of Southeast Asia’s diversity, cultures, and interconnected challenges and opportunities. Participants exchange perspectives across borders to build regional solidarity and collaboration that lasts beyond the weekend.

Committed to Each Leader’s Journey

Reflecting on the personal and collective journeys of women leaders across the region. IKAT aims to foster growth, resilience, and purpose while encouraging women’s leadership rooted in intention and lasting community.

Underpinning the entire weekend is a core element of Harpswell’s programmatic pedagogy - the Inner Development Goals (IDGs). IKAT participants will explore the five themes of the IDGs through interactive sessions and opportunities for reflection, creation and knowledge sharing.

By the end of the weekend, IKAT participants will leave with the “inner growth for outer change” at the heart of the IDG philosophy.

A Gathering Designed for Connection

IKAT spans three days, creating meaningful spaces for collaboration, learning and diving deep. Beyond structured sessions and keynotes, we invite participants to “jump in” to the community, connecting with one another informally and making the most of the weekend.

Schedule of events from November 6 to November 8, divided by morning and afternoon/evening sessions, including keynote speeches, breakout sessions, a craft fair, storytelling tea, and a gala dinner.
